Federal Commerce Minister presented a proposal for a preferential trade agreement between Pakistan and Tajikistan.

Jam Kamal Khan said that Pakistan has the potential to become a trade hub for Central Asian countries, where the ports of Karachi and Gwadar can provide excellent facilities for Tajik imports.

He further said that Pakistani industry is offering high-quality textiles, engineering products, surgical instruments, pharmaceuticals and IT services, which provide a unique opportunity for Tajikistan.

The Government of Pakistan has created a favorable environment for foreign investors through initiatives such as the Special Investment Council (SIFC). Business Today for a strong economic partnership between the two countries.
